In 2026 the Sydney Cardiovascular Symposium will incorporate EMCR focused events for cardiovascular clinicians and scientists in NSW, and beyond, recognising the excellence of our early-career researchers. This is also a means to foster collaboration and interdisciplinary research across the state.

We will have sessions devoted to basic science, clinical, and public health research, an EMCR-led workshop, our prestigious Rising Star Awards session, moderated lightning talks from selected abstracts and a dedicated networking poster session judged by our invited speakers.
