The 2026 Sydney Cardiovascular Symposium is Australia’s premier cardiovascular research event. This year's theme is Sex Differences in Cardiovascular Disease.

The Sydney Cardiovascular Symposium, now in its eighth year, hosted by the George Institute for Global Health, Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, Westmead Institute for Medical Research and Heart Research Institute.

The Sydney Cardiovascular Symposium is free to attend and attracts the best and brightest of NSW researchers, interstate and international talent.

Our vision is to make the world’s best cardiovascular expertise accessible to all NSW researchers and facilitate statewide collaboration to translate this expertise into clinical practice and establish NSW as the preeminent Australian leader in cardiovascular research.
